WH/Luftwaffe/Waffen SS, M31 Helmet Liner, 1944

Description

M31 german helmet liner (Stahlhelm Innenfutter). Full,
leather helmet liner with all eight fingers intact in excellent condition. It has five perforated holes for ventilation plus an additional one at the tip to insert the liner drawstring. The leather is marked with the size “61”. Size 61 corresponds to helmet size 68. The aluminum sheet ring is marked with its “R.B.Nr. 0/0251/0111” for the company “Fa. W. Zahn of Berlin Charlottenburg” and the year “1944”.

Note.- It is very har to find in this size and from the end of the war so well marked, good original example
