Private purchase riding breeches (Stiefelhose) from 1942, olive green, possibly Italy campaign, made of cotton, has two front pockets without buttons, on the back has a pocket (the button is missing), has zippers (marked) in perfect condition to fit at the bottom of the legs, inside, on the artificial silk lining, it has the factory stamps “BEHA GmBH Berlin” and the year “1942” with the sizes stamped. BEHA was a subsidiary of P&C in Berlin (Peek & Cloppenburg) and G.m.B.H (Gesellschaft mit beschraenkter Haftung) stands for “Limited Liability Company”. Excellent condition. Size small, but a good example of private tailoring. Little seen.
