Description
Cylindrical metal case (Laufschützer 43 für Ersatz Maschinengewehrlauf der Wehrmacht) for the spare barrel of MG 34/42 machine guns. With a central opening by means of a lock, it has capacity for an MG-34 or 42 cannon, indistinctly, since in this model it can carry either of the two types, on one of the sides it is marked “Lauf schützer 43”, the code of the manufacturer “bhm 43” as well as a “Wafenamt”. Repavonado??, these cases although original, come from Ukrainian or Russian warehouses, typical in the inventories of captured German WW2 equipment.
