Wehrmacht/Heer, M42 Three tone Camo Normandie Helmet. EX- Afrikakorps

Description

M42 helmet with traces of Normandy tri-color camouflage spray paint, approximately 60% complete (this type of red-tan-green spray camouflage paint was typical during battles in Normandy). The M31 liner in good condition, with supple leather. Inside, under the rear skirt of the hull, the manufacturer’s manufacture “..64” and serial number “55 ? 6” can be partially observed. Size 57.

Note.- This helmet is an EX DAK helmet (note the sand-colored camouflage paint on the interior), whose owner was later in Normandy.
