Description
Turkistan legion sleeve shield in tropical version (Tropenausführung) embroidered, of the third model (1944) of the volunteers of the “162nd Turkestan division”. The insignia consist of a vertically oval shield. The shield has Latin script superimposed on the mosque, “Turkistan”, and yellow, ancient Turkic Jagatai script to the top edge, “T ri biz menen!” (God with Us!).
