Gala uniform of a Spanish diplomat, year 1938/39 when wearing the coat of arms of Spain, model 1938. Composed of an olive green tailcoat richly decorated with polychrome and bullion embroideries, as well as straight trousers also with vertical stripe embroidery and a sword holder. Buttons with M1938 shield. Inside white silk lining with tailor’s label “Giribert, Sastre de la Real Casa. Santander-Madrid”. Good size. The pants are missing a button on the fly. Exceptional condition.

Note.- Giribeert, appears established in Santander as “Tailor of the Royal House” and imported English fabrics since 1918. We put an advertisement from the time.
