Description

Early natural aluminum buckle (Koppelschlo) with its leather tongue intact with the manufacturer’s and the year of production 1938 for enlisted men and non-commissioned officers. The buckle is injection molded, with a grained base and a high relief circular central motif depicting five sheaves of wheat encompassing a smooth, inverted spade head with a sloping swastika on a circular, domed central field. The buckle shows some light wear that does not affect the details. The reverse of the buckle is a mirror image of the front. It has an integrated, raised buckle closure and a bar with two teeth. Very good condition, without cleaning the buckle and supple leather.
