Motor-HJ Bann 742 Shoulder Boards

Model 1938 shoulder boards from around 1941, indicative of the rank of service in the “742 Motorized-HJ Unit”, (Motor HJ Schulterklappe im Bann “742”), black rayon fabric, with vivid pink color indicative of the Motor weapon with the Unit (Bann) number “742” embroidered in the same color, corresponding to the village of Rappoltsweiler of Gau Baden South, annexed like all of Alsace/Moselle by the Third Reich from 1940 to 1945. The “Bann 742” was created on “February 1, 1941”, after the German invasion of France.

Very difficult and rare to find a pair in this state and from this branch of service
