Service tunic with 1935 pattern for a Captain (Hauptmann) a Flight (Flieger) or Paratrooper (Fallschirmjäger), circa 1940, private purchase, made in high quality blue/grey tricot with all effects. It consists of 4 exterior pockets with bellows and flap with button. The front edge of the collar has a shiny aluminum silver officer’s lanyard. There are award-loops on the left breast and on the right there is an officer’s Luftwaffe style eagle made of very good quality embroidered aluminum thread, is nicely hand-sewn. On the collar are the yellow collar tabs (Litzen) indicative of rank and the Captain shoulder boards, all sewn from the period. The sleeves have French cuffs. The interior of the tunic is fully lined in blue rayon and white / striped rayon cloth in sleeves. All officer buttons marked. The tunic is not visible maker marked or dated. Tunic in very good used condition except for some small moth damage and small damages barely noticeables (see photos). All in all a used tunic in good condition.
