German Cross in Gold, manufactured by “G. Brehmer, Markneukirchen.” Post-1945 production

Description

REPRODUCTION: The cross features a raised, black-enameled swastika surrounded by a wreath of leaves, with the date “1941” stamped at the bottom. On the reverse, the pin remains intact, and the manufacturer’s mark—”G. Brehmer MARK-N-EUKIRCHEN”—is clearly stamped in the center. A common error found in these fakes is a misspelling in the mold, where the “N” is replaced by an “H,” reading “MARK-H-EUKIRCHEN.”

This is an old REPRODUCTION.
