A rarely seen combat visor cap (Schirmmützze) in feldgrau for an infantry officer, war visor cap. It has a hand-sewn embroidered crown and a zinc eagle, something very normal at the time. It has no damage, no moth holes. The chin strap intact with its two buttons. Inside it keeps the silk lining and the celluloid diamond intact. The sweat-band with some damage, but I insist, you don’t see many combat caps in feldgrau. It comes to be a size 57/58. A nice wartime cap!. Condition 2+
