Combat knife or trench Knife, WW1 and WW2

Description

Combat knife or trench Knife (Nahkampfmesser) or also called a trench knife, widely used during WW1 and WW2, it has a strong steel blade with a pointed end, the blade is in excellent condition and is sharp as expected from a combat sheet. The grip is held in place by two flat head rivets. It has the typical nine diagonally angled grooves on each side, for a better grip. The scabbard metal scabbard maintains 90% of its original black enamel paint. On the back of the scabbard, at the top there are two rivets that hold the leather loop to pass the belt, it closes by means of a quick release button glued to its front face. Excellent example.
