WW1/ Stick Grenade, 1917

Description

Stick Grenade M1917 (Stielhandgranate M1917) from WW1. Made of sheet metal, it maintains its grayish-green paint on the lid with the reminder “Vor gebrauch sprengkaspel einsetzen”, (insert the detonator before use) and the manufacturer as well as its belt hook, it has a subtly wiggled wooden stick intact, as is normal in these models, it is riveted at the lower end. The grenade has been emptied. It is in excellent state of conservation.
