WW1/ Chocolate Brown P08 Luger Holster with Unit Data, 1916

Spectacular pistol holster for the P08 (Luger) from WW1, made of resistant smooth dark chocolate brown leather, bears the not fully legible manufacture and the year “C.F…../ Berlin / 1916”. Under the flap it bears the data of the unit to which it belonged “J.R.36” (Infantry Regiment 36) and on the back “B.A.II”. The overall condition of the holster is very good, with supple brown dyed leather and  intact heavy stitching, original loops, and pistol ejection strap. The original flap securing strap and buckle are present and in functional condition. Both belt loops are intact and complete. The tool pouch on the lid of the holster is intact, and overall this is a great example of a service used holster .

Very hard to find brown WW1 scabbards, well marked and in this near mint condition.
