One of the few original press photos on “Agfa-Brovia” paper on the battlefield during the Russian campaign of Infantry General “Friedrich Maximilian Siebert” with two officers, made on June 26, 1941, two days after start operation “Barbarossa”, the invasion of the Soviet Union. Winner among other awards of the Knight’s Cross. He commanded the XIII Army Corps and was Commander of the 44th Grenadier Division. The photo measures 18.50 cm x 13.50 cm.
