Wehrmacht/Heer, Crimean Campaing Shield

Description

Shield of the Battle of Crimean (Krim Schild, Wehrmacht) in very good condition, mounted on a feldgrau fabric base, it has its four prongs and it has 100% of its original patina. The shield with a bronze, featuring a large embossed national eagle with out-stretched wings, clutching a wreathed, canted, swastika in it’s talons, to the top center, situated above an embossed, stylized, map of the Crimean peninsula with the embossed dates, “1941-1942”, and the impressed “Krim”. This award was placed sewn on the left shoulder of the feld blouse.
