Spanish Republic/Campaign Postcard, 1938

Description

Extremely rare handwritten, circulated Republican Campaign postcard. It is from the “Army of the Center, General Staff, War Commissariat, Inspection of the Center”, with an allegory for mothers “MOTHER, your son fights for a just and worthy cause, be proud of him.” On the back it has a postmark, and the message to his mother written on November 7, 1938, from Morata, referring to “Morata de Tajuña”. Hard to find!!
