Description
Palatine Distinction in silver of the Regency of Doña Maria Cristina, created by Royal Order of May 16, 1903 in gold, silver and bronze categories, is a reward for meritorious activities during the regency. Circular medal (30 mm), on obverse superimposed the busts of the Regent Queen and her son the King, bordered with the inscription
“M. CHRIST.HISP.REG. CATH. PIETATE AC PRUDENTIA EXIMIAE MATRI DELECTAE”, on reverse, coat of arms of the Royal House flanked by the dates 1885 and 1902, above the inscription “FORTITUDO ET DECOR INDUMENTUME US”. The ribbon in three equal blue-red-blue stripes with the Royal Crown.
Note.- Very rare to still keep the crown.
