Luftwaffe/ J3 Type Pilot’s Badge by C. E. Juncker of Berlin in Award Case

Description

Case with pilot type J3 badge “Flugzeugführerabzeichen der Luftwaffe im Etui J3” in non-ferrous metal (buntmetall), of excellent quality, with manufacturer’s “C.E. Juncker Berlin SW” on the reverse in dark patina. The badge is vertically oval in shape, slightly domed, two piece with its two rivets intact.On the obverse, we can see a silver crown with laurel leaves on the left side and oak leaves on the right side separated at the bottom by three small ribbon-shaped bows, in the center, a very well outlined eagle that maintains its skates with outstretched wings and a splendid swastika between its claws. On the reverse, its vertical needle remains intact on its roller hinge with a closing hook. The blue colored case is made of blue synthetic leather (imitation leather) on the outside and blue on the inside, is intact, on the lid it is stamped in gold letters “Luftwaffen- Flugzeugführer- Abzeichen”. Excellent condition both in the case and in the badge.
