Kriegsmarine Staff Officers Visor Cap M1938, Corvette captains, Frigate captains, and Captain at sea (Kriegsmarine Schirmmütze für Stabsoffiziere, Korvettenkapitän, Fregattenkapitän bis Kapitän zur See). This privately acquired cap is made of high-quality cloth. The visor features exceptional hand-embroidered gilt oak leaves. It has the typical navy blue rayon lining. The supple leather sweatband is in excellent condition, undamaged. On the front, we can see the original high-quality hand-embroidered wreath and cap-eagle. The visor cap is immaculate. It is a large size, definitely 58/59. It has a superb shape and appearance with minor signs of wear, but the colors remain vibrant. A rare and hard-to-find original high-ranking Kriegsmarine officer visor cap! The internal crown stiffening wire is still intact.
