1937 Berlin Anniversary Ceramics Plaque in Case-KPM

Description

Luxury maroon velvet presentation case marked “1237-1937” on the lid with a high-quality white porcelain commemorative plaque (Erinnerungsplakette zur 700 Jahrfeier Berlin 1237-1937) from Staatliche Porzellan Manufaktur Berlin “KPM”. Issued to celebrate the 700th anniversary of the creation of Berlin in 1937.

On the obverse, in fine relief, it has the coat of arms of Berlin. On the reverse also in fine relief the legend “Als Dank und zur Erinnerung – Die Reichshauptstadt 1937” (As thanks and as a reminder – The Capital of the Reich). Height: 11.7cm.

Note.- There are some loose or in a cardboard box, but those presented in their presentation case are very rare and of higher quality.
