Exceptional and very rare 1st pattern high quality eagle (droop tail) for General’s cap, Nicely worn and removed. Made of wire threads forming hand-embroidered golden ingots on field green wool. It shows very few signs of use. All the ingots in place, there are no loose ones, it has a very nice patina of aging. Rarely do you see an eagle like this.
