Waffen SS/ Pocket Watch Alpina with Emblem and Dedication

Description

Privately acquired mechanical pocket watch for a member of the “SS Panzer Wiking Division” of the “Alpina” brand, with anti-shock machinery, has two hands and a crown. The white porcelain dial is double-numbered, with all large black Arabic numerals. At six o’clock, it has the second hand, and below twelve o’clock it has the watchmaker’s mark “Alpina”. Has the “Wiking” emblem engraved on the outside cover, and the serial number on the inside. On the second cover, the owner’s initials and the inscription “Weihn 1943” are engraved, Weihn refers to “weihnachten”, in German “Christmas”, that is “Christmas 1943”. When lifting this second cover, the beautiful machinery of this watch appears, also engraved with the watchmaker’s mark. All 100% original parts. Perfect operation, checked. It measures 55mm in diameter.
