Description

Beautiful and original first type SS visor cap skull so called ‘Jawless’ skull or Danziger type. The hollow reverse is a mirror image of the obverse. Worn as badges also on tradition caps in WW2 by the 5th Cavalry Regiment and all units of the 4th Div. Cav. Prongs remain intact. Very nice original early Danziger skull.

There is no association with Panzer units. They are not collar badges, they are smaller and with three bolts .
