Wehrmacht/ Grenade Launcher Pouch, 1944

Description

Late war grenade launcher pouch(Gewehrgranatgerät Tasche) for the transport of the Kit for the K98 grenade launcher, in fully flexible strong black leather, vertically triangular in shape with its corresponding canvas strap for transport. On the back of the bag there is a large sewn-in loop to pass the belt through. The scabbard is well marked with a well-impressed waffenamt, the manufacturer’s code “cey”, the code corresponding to the manufacture of “Karl Budischovsky u. Soehne, Oesterreichische Lederindustrie AG, Vienna”, and the year code “1944”. The inside of the bag has two small internal pockets for mounting tools. The cover is in very good general condition, with almost no wear.
