Skull for the Prussian Hussar Kolpak, Circa 1910

Description

Skull badge (Totenkopf für die Mannschafts Pelzmütze der Leib-Husaren) for the Prussian Hussar kolpak. Around 1910. Period II Reich. It measures 10 X 11.50 cm. Although used, but good condition and very rare to find originals.

Note.- Many of these badges were found in Berlin after the war, we put photos of an original Kolpak with the skull so you can see it.

Note 1.- There is speculation about whether these Panzer-style skull-shaped plates were for identification of the Condor Legion vehicles. If it could be, they are the same, only this one is 3 cm smaller. It may be so.
