1936\/39 Campaign Medal with vanguard ribbon and pin, type “1”<\/strong> model with EGA\u00d1A<\/strong> in a vertical position, from left to right, following the ray of the sun closest to the sword blade, specific model for the Condor Legion<\/strong> as it has a “Torch”<\/strong> or “Pineapple”<\/em> distinctive of this variant under the ring.<\/span>
\nThe circular medal, with a diameter of 37 millimeters and a thickness of 3 millimeters, features on the obverse, in matte black, a lion killing a dragon, representing communism, with the radiant sun in the background and the legend “17 JVLIO 1936”<\/strong>. In the background and in gold, the four swords of the Laureate Cross of Saint Ferdinand, whose same laurels form the outline. On the reverse, it has the figure of an eagle in gold, which holds the coat of arms of the Catholic Monarchs in matte black in its claws. Next to the shield, and also in black, a helmet and a bundle of five arrows. As a border, it has a circular crown with two sections, one in matte black, which includes the legend “ARRIBA ESPA\u00d1A”, and the other in gold, with the legends “GENERAL\u00cdSIMO FRANCO V\u00cdCTOR” (in initials and anagram) and “UNA GRANDE LIBRE IMPERIAL M. HISP. GLOR”.<\/span><\/p>\n

Note:<\/strong> This is not a standard Civil War Campaign medal; it is a specific Ega\u00f1a model associated with carrying the Torch or Pinecone (a Roman symbol of fortune) to the Condor Legion.<\/span><\/p>\n
