The stamped sheet steel construction M35 helmet retains most of its typical early field grey\/green paint, the paint is showing scratches and normal traces of usage . Both decals are in very good condition with some minor damage and scratches caused by usage, decals are retained for about 95%. All three liner retaining rivets are intact and are showing the typical early apple-green colour. The interior of the helmet is a M31 leather liner with all eight fingers intact, the liner is size &#8217;57&#8217; marked. The early liner is having a reinforced aluminum liner ring which is nicely maker marked and dated 1938. The original liner cord is present. The shell is marked with maker and size &#8216;NS64&#8217; which indicates production by the company &#8220;Vereinigte Deutsche Nickelfabrik, Schwerte&#8221;. The reverse interior neck guard apron has a stamped serial number &#8216;DN69&#8217;. There is a nice dome-stamp inside the shell, dated 1938.
