The enamel badge is 23mm in diameter with a black border edged in silver. It is inscribed in silver letters &#8220;DVG Westmark (Lothr.)&#8221; encompassing a white field with an opaque red movable swastika, also bordered in silver. On the reverse is his intact pin with the legend &#8220;W.
